Best Pizza In Kings Park NY Photo by Brian Kachejian
The best pizza in Kings Park can be found in five local pizzerias that have become part of everyday life in this North Shore Long Island community. Kings Park may be a smaller town compared to some neighboring Suffolk County areas, but the pizza scene here still delivers classic New York slices, Sicilian pies, garlic knots, and neighborhood-style Italian food that keeps people coming back again and again.
Kings Park sits along the North Shore of Suffolk County and carries a quieter personality than many of Long Island’s busier commercial areas. The town’s history dates back to the 1600s, eventually growing through farming communities, waterfront development, and the establishment of the Kings Park Psychiatric Center, which became one of the most recognized institutions in the region for decades. Even with Long Island’s rapid growth over the years, Kings Park has managed to maintain much of its local neighborhood identity, something you still feel when driving through the town today.
Kings Park also holds a personal connection for me because when I was 18, I worked at the 7 Eleven on Route 25A. Spending time there taught me a lot about life and gave me a real connection to the people and community in Kings Park. Because of that, this town has always stayed close to my heart, which made putting together this pizza ranking especially meaningful.
This list also differs from many pizza rankings because Kings Park has only five pizzerias, and I have eaten at all of them multiple times over the years. These were not one-visit reviews or quick drive-through tastings. Every place on this list earned its position through repeated visits and consistent experiences over time. Some places specialize in classic New York slices, some shine with Sicilian pizza, and others stand out because of atmosphere, friendliness, or consistency.
What makes Kings Park interesting from a pizza perspective is how community-driven these places feel. These are neighborhood pizzerias serving local families, workers, students, and longtime residents. Each one has its own personality, and every place on this list contributes something important to the Kings Park food scene.

# 5 – Shortstop Pizza
We open our list of where to find the best pizza in Kings Park with Shortstop Pizza. One of this pizzeria’s biggest strengths is its location, sitting right next to the Kings Park train station. It is an easy place to miss because it is tucked slightly off Indian Head Road, just after crossing the railroad tracks. As the name suggests, this is a very sports-minded pizzeria, with memorabilia covering the walls and helping create a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. It is a friendly spot offering a wide variety of pizza, heroes, and Italian dinners, and the prices remain very affordable.
# 4 – 3 Sons Pizza Kitchen
# 3 – Gino’s Pizza
If you live on Long Island, the chances are that you live pretty close to a Gino’s Pizzeria. This is a very popular chain of pizzerias that delivers very high-quality pizza, Italian dishes, and more. There aren’t many people who would complain about a Gino’s. They offer a wide variety of different style pizzas, dinners, and even incredibly delicious Italian desserts. Make sure you get one of those cream-filled donut-style creations. Go for the Nutella. You can’t go wrong with this place.
# 2 – Main Street Pizza
If you love old-school style 1970s pizza, then this is the place for you. The owner has been making pizza since the 1970s. His regular and Sicilian are fantastic. This is located just at the start of town or the end of town, depending on which direction you’re going. It’s a standalone building on the north side of Main Street.
# 1 – Linda’s Riverside Pizzeria & Cafe
When I first reviewed this marvelous pizzeria, many people were angry with me for sharing it. They did not want anyone else to discover this place because they wanted to keep it all to themselves. That is usually the sign of a true hidden gem, and this place absolutely fits that description. San Remo Pizzeria is tucked away in a spectacular location in San Remo, just steps from the water. You can park on the street, grab a slice of pizza, then walk over to the park directly across from the pizzeria, sit at a picnic table, and stare out at the beautiful Nissequogue River. As wonderful as all of that sounds, and it truly is, what lands this place in the number one spot is the food itself, especially the sensational pizza. It is not the easiest place to find, which is why I included a map in the article, but it is absolutely worth the trip.
